Motorola Brings Swarovski Sparkle To THE BLONDS’ 20th Anniversary Show With Paris Hilton

If you are going to reveal a crystal-covered phone, you might as well do it at a THE BLONDS show.

That is exactly what Motorola did for THE BLONDS’ 20th anniversary in New York, where Paris Hilton made a surprise appearance in a custom look by the designers inspired by the new motorola razr with Crystals by Swarovski.

The phone was covered in crystals too.

The new razr is the latest addition to Motorola’s Brilliant Collection. It comes in PANTONE Meteorite with a quilted, leather-inspired texture, 35 hand-positioned Swarovski crystals in Silver Night and a 32-facet crystal on the hinge. It is not the sort of phone you would want to lose at the bottom of your handbag.

For the anniversary show, designers Phillipe and David Blond looked to the 2026 razr family for inspiration, drawing on its colours, finishes and distinctive folding shape. The collection was presented in three runway chapters alongside archival looks celebrating two decades of THE BLONDS.

Paris Hilton, a longtime Motorola partner, walked the runway in a custom THE BLONDS look created especially for the occasion, carrying the new razr as it made its debut.

The rest of the cast was just as colourful, with Aquaria, Brooklyn Van Zandt, Gigi Gorgeous, Emira D’Spain, Susanne Bartsch, Aqua and Lion Babe appearing in looks inspired by the 2026 razr family.

The collaboration suits THE BLONDS’ style. Phillipe and David Blond have spent 20 years creating hand-crafted pieces covered in embroidery, crystals and elaborate embellishment, with music, film and art often influencing their designs. The anniversary show gave Motorola a suitably glamorous setting for its most embellished razr yet.

The 32-facet crystal on the hinge is a particularly nice detail. It catches the light whenever the phone opens, adding a little extra sparkle to an already eye-catching design.

The crystals, quilted texture and Meteorite finish give the phone the look of a fashion accessory rather than a standard piece of tech. It is still a phone, of course, but this version of the razr is clearly designed to be seen.
